Here at Sysco International, we have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Indirect Procurement who will drive the sourcing strategy and procurement operations for all indirect categories of Sysco International – a portfolio of $850 M+ operating across 10 different OpCos.
Reporting into the Senior Director of Indirect Sourcing Operations, you’ll be responsible for the Indirect sourcing strategy, cost leadership, analytics & automation and change management whilst leading and developing the sourcing and procurement centre of excellence. This will cover a range of targeted categories such as supplies, services, fleet and site maintenance. You’ll will work closely with key stakeholders Internationally for effective category management and develop cost reduction strategies and implementation plans, leading the cost leadership agenda.
We are offering a hybrid working contract with 2-3 days working in our London office in Covent Garden per week, so you must be comfortable and flexible with travel into Central London. Occasional International travel may also be required.
Accountabilities
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
You’ll have extensive experience in a senior indirect procurement role, ideally within the FMCG or Distribution sector. Operating as a Director will require an advanced level of leadership experience as well as the influencing ability, driving engagement through the wider Senior Leadership Team. Your strategic vision and indirect procurement expertise will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, implementing new policies and processes as well as delivering significant cost savings, supporting the Sysco growth strategy. Taking a lead on the cost leadership agenda, previous experience with governance, data and insight reporting is required. Your team will be stationed within different OpCos Internationally, so supportive and collaborative leadership is essential. Highly networked externally to understand the industry best practises is preferred.
