We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the Sysco Technology team on a full time, permanent basis, who will drive and own the successful delivery of our business-driven projects.
The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to utilise their project management skills across a wide range of business projects within the Finance, HR and Legal business functions, all of which have a broad range of change initiatives ranging from the strategic to the operational. SAP ECC and HCM are the key platforms in use but as is common they are both augmented by and integrate with other various solutions internally and externally sourced. While the primary focus is on Finance, HR and Legal projects there will always be the opportunity to get involved with other classes of projects.
This role is being offered on a remote working basis with the requirement to travel to other UK sites for team meetings, so you must be willing to travel infrequently.
Reporting to the Business Delivery Lead, you’ll need experience of delivering projects using Agile and waterfall methodologies, of working with internal and external teams across multiple sites and geographies and a good understanding of business processes. You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and partner effectively with business units and key stakeholders up to a senior level.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
About you:
The ideal candidate will have previous Project Management experience delivering business change projects using waterfall methodologies and the ability to put framework and structure around a defined project. Having a Prince 2, Six Sigma or similar qualification with Change Management experience and experience of a software delivery lifecycle would be highly advantageous. You will be able to take complex tasks & ideas and break down into logical simple activities to provide updates to stakeholders. Microsoft skills are essential in this role; PowerPoint, Project, Word and Excel, so candidates need to be proficient in the use of these as well as having strong presentation and communication skills.
