Brakes have a fantastic opportunity for 2 Data Stewards to join the central data team, reporting to the Head of Data, Reporting & Insights GB.
The role sits as a key co-ordinator within the central data team, supporting the enablement of nimble and functional data and analytics innovations within governed standards and principles to ensure data architecture principles are adhered to, development standards are maintained and risk and opportunities within the data network are identified and understood.
The role has responsibility for efforts undertaken within Sysco GB data and analytics only and does not support International or US owned items within the GB space.

About you:
The be successful in this role, candidates must have experience working in large scale, complex IT / data and analytics transformation projects with experience of setting data asset standards and policies to ensure data quality and consistency, privacy, and security. An agent for change, you will have excellent facilitation and influencing skills with proven ability of listening and communication across a wide variety of stakeholder audience groups to drive accountability and ownership of data assets in the wider business. As a Data Steward you need to be resilient and execution focused with the ability to deliver amid complex and challenging projects / situations with a strong desire to provide simplification and efficiencies of process by delivering automated data governance processes and supporting technologies. You should possess a critical thinking and analytical mindset with the ability to measure and communicate data governance impacts and have the relevant Project Management and planning skills to be able to manage multiple tasks within a demanding work environment.
