You will be required to liaise with the wider team, managers, and multiple departments to ensure solutions are delivered both effectively and efficiently.
Reporting to the Distribution Shift Manager, measure delivery performance to ensure the smooth operation of our entire warehouse and transport operation. You will manage and maintain both paper and digital records including raising and input purchase orders on SAP along with assistance with the goods receipting of purchase order numbers. As Operations Administrator you will take overall responsibility for answering incoming calls and emails for customers and drivers. Responding to any customer queries and complaints, finding a resolution and processing credits where necessary in a professional manner.
You’ll be a forward-thinking individual, able to adapt to change with a view to drive customer experience and level of service. You’ll be expected to be on site during critical operational hours which will predominantly be Monday – Friday.
To join us as the Operations Administrator you will be an excellent communicator with previous customer service experience within a fast-paced company. Have strong IT knowledge in particular Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SAP and Minster system knowledge (desirable). We have a bespoke Transport Management Software package we use so already working in the fleet or distribution field is ideal but not essential. We can train you on all you need to know to be a success if you have the right attitude and approach to get the job done.
