Funded by Brakes Group a leading supplier to the foodservice industry in the UK, Ireland, France and Sweden. Meals & More provides support to children who live with poverty and social isolation and have limited access to adequate food provision and activity throughout school holiday periods.
Meals & More provides funds and resources that help our delivery partners run holiday clubs across the United Kingdom. Founded by Brakes in 2015, Meals & More is an independent registered charity.
In 2023, Meals & More reached more children than ever before, and has now supported provision of over 2 million meals since 2015.
The role of the Administration Assistant position is to effectively manage the processes of Meals & More and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the progress of the charity aligned to its purpose.
This role requires you to work Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week.
You will work closely with the Operations Director, working to the annual plan in support of the charity aims and objectives. In addition, you will create informative infographics, newsletters, and updates for internal and external communications.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is currently working in an administration role, who has a passion for making a difference, looking for a role where you can grow and have a successful career. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders and departments across the business. You’ll be highly organised and able to prioritise work load efficiently and able to work to tight deadlines. We’re looking for an experienced user of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and social media platforms. You will be a professional self-starter and already be accustomed to working within a fast-paced environment where the delivery of excellence in service is paramount.
