About the role

This role is crucial for the our client's triumph, championing its strategic ambitions and ensuring that the project benefits from cutting-edge cloud infrastructure.

The successful candidate will play a central role in elevating the security and efficiency of platform operations for a mission critical government project, significantly influencing the future landscape of public safety and national security across the UK.

As the lead Cloud Security Product Manager, you'll helm the strategic development and governance of secure cloud-based services and products, crucial for the public sector's operational needs. Working in tandem with interdisciplinary teams spanning engineering, security, and compliance, you’ll ensure our cloud solutions not only adhere to the highest security standards but also resonate with our customer base.

This role demands an adept hand at strategic oversight, product lifecycle management, market analysis, and stakeholder collaboration, driving products that are secure, innovative, and responsive to emerging threats.

You must either hold active SC, or be eligible for SC:

• To have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years.

Requirements

Note: This is an urgent requirement for a public sector client and will require ACTIVE Security Clearance.

• Craft and steer a comprehensive cloud security product strategy in sync with organisational objectives and client demands.
• Lead collaboration efforts with engineering, security, and additional teams to weave security into the fabric of the product lifecycle.
• Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify evolving trends and opportunities in cloud security.
• Partner with compliance to ensure our offerings comply with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
• Monitor and manage KPIs for product security features, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Engage with customers and partners, integrating their feedback into product development to meet and exceed security expectations.
• Orchestrate product feature prioritisation, balancing user feedback, market insights, and security advancements.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across the product development journey, ensuring excellence from concept to launch.
• Champion cloud security best practices internally and externally, positioning our products at the forefront of the industry.
• Leverage emerging security technologies and insights to continuously refine our product suite.

About you

You’ll be passionate about new technology, automation and cloud security, and experienced in leading an Product/Engineering Team in Agile and DevSecOps best practices. You’ll also be able to talk to us about your:

• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Ability to collaborate with people of all levels of technical ability.
• Understanding of industry best practices.
• Product Management experience.
• Fantastic people skills, including the ability to motivate a team towards a common goal.
