Job Description
BBC Studios is a world-renowned content studio known for its creativity and successful programming. We are seeking a Motion Designer for the in-house Bluey Creative team, responsible for producing dynamic and high-quality motion graphics that support our creative output. Under the guidance of the Head of Creative (Bluey), the designer will create engaging content for campaigns, social media, digital advertising, and more. The ideal candidate should have exceptional animation skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities
• Motion Graphics Production: Develop and produce high-quality motion graphics for various channels while ensuring compliance with project specifications and guidelines.
• Animation: Create animations that enhance storytelling and visual impact.
• Graphic Design... Visualize concepts using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Visual Consistency: Ensure consistency with brand identity and high production standards.
• Storyboarding and Concept Development: Develop storyboards for motion graphics projects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to develop innovative solutions.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize tools like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for animations.
• Project Delivery: Manage multiple projects simultaneously for timely delivery.
• Feedback Integration: Address feedback constructively to refine work.
• Technical Skills Development: Continuously update skills and knowledge of industry trends.
Requirements
Key Criteria
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in motion design software such as Adobe After Effects. Familiarity with Premiere Pro, Cinema4d, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills for effective collaboration.
• Creative Judgment: Ability to translate briefs into compelling motion graphics.
• Time Management: Organizational skills to manage projects and meet deadlines.
Desirable
• Animation and Compositing: Expertise in animation principles and video editing.
• Storyboarding: Strong skills in developing storyboards.
• Feedback Skills: Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Social Media: Understanding of how motion graphics enhance digital engagement.
• 3D Animation: Basic skills in 3D animation are useful but not essential.
• Kids Content: Experience working on kids’ content and knowledge of Bluey is a bonus.
