We are looking for another member of staff to join our small team at Gallery no30.
We have the following shifts available ( 11.00 - 4.00 ) on a Monday and Wednesday.
Ideally you will live in Petersfield or will drive yourself to work or walk.
Availability to work some evenings for our events is important
We are looking for someone already Barista trained
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make specialty drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food preparation and service
- Assist with food preparation, such as serving cakes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the coffee shop
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and measuring ingredients
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
