Description
The Greedy Banker are looking for a part-time bartender to work evenings in our cocktail lounge The Bullion Bar and on the main bar downstairs. The ideal candidate will have cocktail-making experience and will be able to confidently craft beverages, engage with customers and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties:
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with patrons, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their tastes.
• Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Take food from the kitchen to customers, ensuring the correct order is received by each guest.
Skills
• Previous experience in a restaurant or bartending role is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and presentation techniques.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and calculating drink recipes.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
This job is predominantly for Friday and Saturday nights, with one or two other evenings in the week. Applicants who are not available on Friday and Saturday nights from 5pm - 1am will not be considered. There will be opportunities to pick up extra shifts if you would like more hours.
You will also be required to work on big events and public holidays such as Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Please do not apply if you are not able to work Christmas Eve and New Years Eve 2025.
