Plumbing & Heating Engineer – North London & Home Counties – Basic Salary £36,000 – £42,000 + Overtime
Plumbing & Heating Engineer Package Overview:
• £36,000 – £42,000 Basic Salary (Depending on Experience) + Overtime
• Potential to earn additional money call-outs and overtime
• Full-Time, Permanent Position
• Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm
• Call-Out Rota: 1 in every 4 weeks
• Company Vehicle, Fuel Card & Mobile Phone provided
• Various sites across London & Home Counties
Company Overview – Plumbing & Heating Engineer –
A well-established and growing company specialising in plumbing and heating services across residential and commercial properties. With continued growth and new contracts secured, we’re seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our professional team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of plumbing and heating works, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with safety regulations.
Plumbing & Heating Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
• Installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems
• Trace and access work
• Soil stack replacements
• Cold main repairs and replacements (15mm up to 4”) — copper and ABS/PVCU plastic
• Fault diagnosis (e.g., water heater failures, PRV faults, etc.)
• Fusion welding and/or Mapress systems
• Basic multi-trade works (e.g., removing kitchen units during investigations)
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
Plumbing & Heating Engineer Skills and Experience Required:
• Proven experience in a similar plumbing and heating role
• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to participate in the call-out rota (minimum 1 in 4 weeks)
• Relevant plumbing/heating qualifications desirable
