Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite technical support at our Southam location.
This is a full-time, on-site role with no remote work option; the role requires the candidate to be in the office five days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Working as part of the Southam Site IT team, the successful candidate will:
• Provide excellent customer support to EA staff
• Image Windows and Mac devices
• Troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Monitor ServiceNow ticket queue, email and Slack requests, ensuring timely updates and escalations
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes
• Update asset assignments in EA’s tracking system
• Help to support local IT Initiatives and Projects
• Help move an office location from Southam to Leamington
The Ideal candidate would have some of the following skills/experience:
• Experience working in a technology focussed environment supporting Windows and Mac systems
• Strong customer support and communication skills
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• Familiarity with imaging tools and endpoint management solutions (JAMF, Intune or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• A proactive ‘Can-do’ attitude
• Previous games industry experience would be advantageous, but not required.
Education & Certifications
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft MD-100/101 (Modern Desktop Administrator), ITIL Foundation, or Apple ACSP are welcome, but not required.
