Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Head Chef located in Glasgow. The Executive Head Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to ensure high culinary standards. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring the kitchen team, managing inventory and food supplies, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and collaborating with management to create innovative menu offerings while controlling costs. The role requires a strong focus on delivering a high-quality dining experience and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment handling
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and inventory management
• Experience in menu development, cost control, and food budgeting
• Creativity in culinary presentation and ability to develop innovative dishes
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a similar role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a professional kitchen
