Job Title: Sous Chef
Location: Central London
Salary: £40,000 + Paid Overtime

We are recruiting an experienced and ambitious Sous Chef to join a prestigious corporate contract catering operation in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef with strong fine dining and hotel experience who is looking to progress their career within a high-quality corporate environment, with a clear development plan to step into a Head Chef role.
The Role:
You will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of a busy and high-standard kitchen, delivering everything from fresh sandwich and working lunches to elegant, sit-down fine dining dinners and corporate events. The role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to work with premium ingredients while maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the management of all kitchen operations
• Produce high-quality food for both volume and fine dining services
• Lead, train, and motivate junior members of the brigade
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and H&S standards are consistently met
• Support menu development and service planning
• Maintain high standards of presentation, consistency, and service
The Ideal Candidate:
• Experience in fine dining restaurants and/or 4 or 5-star hotels
• Strong background in contract catering or premium hospitality
• Proven ability to deliver both high-volume and high-end services
• Ambitious and keen to develop into a Head Chef role
• A hands-on leader with excellent organisational and communication skills
