L/S Equity Analyst Internship (Industrials) | London, UK | In-Office

This is a 6/12 month internship opportunity for a recent graduate (masters level) or someone who already has work experience as an Equities Analyst / Associate. This is most likely to be a graduate from a top tier university with an economics / financial analysis masters degree. The ideal candidate must have an excellent understanding of Excel and a strong experience in the creation / updating of financial models. Strong analytical skills will be required to really get behind the data as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast moving environment.Additional requirements/preferences for the ideal candidate:
• Must have very strong financial analysis skills and experience
• A hardworking and self-starting attitude (hunger to learn and achieve)
• Passionate and excited about Global Markets and finance
• Strong interest in Global Equity Markets (particularly industrials / cap goods)
• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to get behind the data and understand the story / themes it reveals
• Very strong excel skills
• Coding skills (i.e. Python) will be advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a genuine curiosity to dig into new projects
