To maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the Masjid premises ensuring a peaceful and clean environment for worshippers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of prayer halls, ablution areas, toilets, corridors, and surrounding premises.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and wash floors, carpets, and prayer mats.
• Ensure washrooms and wudu (ablution) areas are clean, well-stocked with soap, tissues, and water.
• Dispose of waste and maintain proper waste segregation and disposal.
• Support in setting up and cleaning after prayer times, Friday prayers, and religious events.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of shoe racks, shelves, and storage areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
• Ensure a respectful and quiet presence in the Masjid premises during prayers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Male candidates only.
• Prior experience as a cleaner, janitor, or housekeeping staff (preferably in a Masjid or similar environment).
• Basic understanding of hygiene standards.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Respectful, disciplined, and able to maintain confidentiality and decorum in a religious place.
• Basic communication skills (Arabic/English/Urdu preferred).
Working Hours:
• Based on prayer times and Masjid schedule (may include early mornings, evenings, and Fridays).
