Murex Business Analyst / Murex Consultant – Murex (Back Office & Trade Processing)

Location: London / Europe (with travel to Geneva every other week – 2–3 days onsite)

Type: Contract / Interim (flexible)

We’re looking for a Murex Business Analyst / Murex Consultant with deep Murex product knowledge to support a major trading transformation programme. You’ll act as the bridge between business and technology, shaping the Back Office operating model and owning key parts of the trade lifecycle design and implementation in Murex. Core competency in back-office trade processing of OTC and exchange-traded instruments.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead analysis and design of Back Office trade processing for OTC and exchange-traded instruments
• Define and document the Back Office operating model and end-to-end trade lifecycle
• Configure and set up products, workflows and static data within Murex
• Work closely with Front Office, Risk, Treasury and Technology to translate business requirements into robust Murex solutions
• Support testing, issue resolution and go-live activities across multiple releases
• Act as a subject matter expert on Murex Back Office for stakeholders across the programme

Core Requirements
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst / Consultant on large trading or risk change programmes
• Deep, hands-on Murex experience – configuration and set-up of products, workflows and Back Office processes
• Strong knowledge of trade processing for OTC derivatives and exchange-traded products
• Proven experience designing and implementing Back Office operating models and trade lifecycle workflows in Murex
• Ability to work with senior business stakeholders, challenge requirements and shape solutions
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, front-to-back trading environment
