Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an ambitious legal professional who is looking to grow with the firm and eventually step into a senior role. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and take pride in providing outstanding service to clients.
Due to the collaborative nature of our firm, team members work closely with senior lawyers and have direct contact from early on. The structure allows for hands-on experience, meaningful professional development, and the opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners. We are committed to investing in our team's growth and believe our people are our greatest asset.
Our success comes from our people. We are proud to attract high-calibre professionals who are driven, detail-oriented, and client-focused. At Barnes Law, you'll work closely with clients and with Yulia herself, gaining valuable insight and mentorship from her many years of legal expertise. We believe in investing in our team's growth- your development is our priority.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend client meetings
• Handle client onboarding and instructions
• Conduct legal research and order searches
• Draft legal correspondence
• Support with post-completion matters
• Participate in regular training and development
Ideal Candidate:
• Minimum 1 year experience in a conveyancing department at a boutique or reputable small firm
• UK law degree and LPC qualification, or plans to sit the SQE
• Strong understanding of English legal concepts
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Clear confident communication and drafting skills
• Professional, proactive, and eager to learn
• Willing to go extra mile, including occasional overtime.
What We Offer:
• Hybrid working model
• Office located in Central London
• Core hours: 9am- 5.30pm, with flexibility depending on workload
• Annual performance targets
• Opportunities to attend networking events
• 28 days of paid leave, plus your birthday off
• Annual bonuses
• A collaborative, close-knit team with access to senior mentorship.
Interested? Please apply by completing our online questionnaire as a first step toward a potential interview. Please note, due to the volume of applications, we will only contact successful candidates.
