We are an education provider and are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented part time Administrative Assistant to support our team in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a customer-focused mindset. This role requires proficiency in assisting in office operations, handling multi-line phone systems, and providing exceptional clerical support. The hours are Monday to Thursday 12pm - 5.30pm and Fridays 12pm - 4pm.
Duties
• Answer and manage calls using multi-line phone systems, ensuring professional communication
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain filing systems for both physical and digital documents
• Complying with government funding rules
• Regular contact with funding bodies
• Liaising with tutors
• Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Support office management activities to ensure a smooth workflow within the organisation
• Be confident using social media platforms
Qualifications
• Previous experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy
• Experience in clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and proofreading
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
