Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start
Location: Barnsley, S74
Pay: From £12.21 per hour (PAYE)
Shifts: 6am–2pm | 2pm–10pm | 6pm–3am / 10pm-6am

Are you a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker looking to join a dynamic team? We're hiring on behalf of a leading parcel courier client in Barnsley. You’ll play a crucial role in keeping operations running smoothly through materials handling, stocking, sorting, and shipping and receiving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and organise incoming parcels quickly and accurately
• Load and unload vehicles using safe and efficient methods
• Use scanners, conveyor belts, and other sorting equipment
• Ensure all parcels are labelled and routed correctly
• Assist with stocking, picking, and packing where required
• Identify damaged goods and follow correct reporting procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse space
• Work with team members to meet targets and deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous warehouse/logistics experience is a plus, but not essential
• Physically fit with the stamina to be on your feet for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work flexible shifts and occasional overtime
• Able to commute to Barnsley (S74 area)
