Receptionist – Secondary School, Chorley

Start Date: 5th January

Contract: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join a welcoming secondary school in Chorley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and providing outstanding front-of-house support.

Key Responsibilities:

Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and students

Managing incoming calls and emails efficiently

Maintaining accurate records and handling administrative tasks

Supporting the school office team with day-to-day duties

Requirements:

Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (school experience desirable)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure and multitask

Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and school systems advantageous)
