Based In: Shoreditch, London – On site
Working Pattern: Full time - 4-day week scheme
Salary: £45,000 per anum

The Role:
This omnichannel design role is responsible for the ideation and execution of House of Hackney’s visual brand communications across digital, print, events and experiential touchpoints. While the majority of work will focus on digital channels, you will also bring our brand to life across packaging, printed collateral, events and showroom environments - ensuring consistency and excellence at every interaction.
Your output should balance a fresh creative perspective with commercial sensitivity and enrich the brand experience across all channels of the business, creating new ways to drive the brand message forward. This role acts as a brand guardian, producing and maintaining guidelines to ensure a consistent look and feel across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Leadership
• Support campaign shoots with creative direction, research, storyboarding and asset strategy.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all visual creative needs across the business, ensuring aesthetic consistency across digital, print and physical environments.
• Act as a brand guardian, evolving and maintaining guidelines across digital, print and experiential channels.
Digital Design
• Lead the design and creative direction of the website, newsletters and digital marketing collateral, helping to elevate the customer journey and seamless multichannel experience.
• Deliver high-quality, innovative, interactive designs and create a best-in-class digital experience while meeting brand objectives.
• Produce UX/UI concepts and prototypes that enhance the customer journey, balancing usability with House of Hackney’s unique aesthetic.
Omnichannel Design
• Create compelling product stories and concepts for use across online features, print, and experiential environments.
• Art direct and execute visual assets for campaigns, packaging, event materials and showroom displays.
Project Management
• Collaborate with Creative Ops Manager and E-commerce teams to ensure imagery and assets are delivered on time and on brand.
• Manage and brief external suppliers/ agencies where needed to deliver high-quality design outputs.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in digital-first design with the versatility to deliver across print, events, packaging and experiential projects.
• A visual aesthetic aligned with House of Hackney’s branding and a design style that can elevate the brand across all touchpoints.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and proficiency with prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma).
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, with the ability to create mobile-first, customer-centric designs.
• Excellent typography, colour and layout skills, with a keen eye for detail and craft.
• Experience art-directing assets across a range of mediums, including digital campaigns, print materials, packaging and showroom environments.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple projects, including quick-turnaround print/event requests.
• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills and the confidence to share and listen to ideas.
• An understanding of analytics, best practice and how testing and insights inform design decisions.
• A passion for regenerative design thinking, sustainability and storytelling.
