We supply HGV Drivers and Warehouse Staff to a wide range of clients, from leading blue-chip companies to local businesses. The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant / Branch Manager to take responsibility for managing our team (currently a team of 3) and growing our presence in the Yorkshire region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious recruitment professional with proven experience in temporary staffing and account management who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You’ll combine day-to-day recruitment delivery with team management, client relationship growth, and business development.

This role may also be suited to someone in a Transport Manager role.

The role
• Team Leadership & Development
• Manage, support, and motivate a team of 3 consultants to meet business performance targets.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentoring to enhance team skills and results.
• Oversee team KPIs, ensuring a consistent pipeline of quality candidates and excellent client service.
• Recruitment & Delivery
• Lead on sourcing, interviewing, and registering candidates across multiple channels (job boards, social media, networking, advertising, referrals).
• Ensure compliance with Right to Work legislation, qualifications, and suitability checks.
• Oversee the effective matching of candidates to client bookings on a daily and weekly basis.
• Client Relationship Management
• Act as the main point of contact for key client accounts, ensuring high service standards and retention.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and reactivate lapsed clients.
• Regularly meet with clients (onsite and remotely) to build strong partnerships.
• Business Growth
• Drive business performance, ensuring consistent increases in weekly worker placements.
• Take ownership of financial performance, including charge rates, pay rates, margins, and profitability.
• Operations & Compliance
• Oversee weekly payroll administration, timesheet collection, and compliance processes.
• Ensure all operational activity is carried out in line with legal, ethical, and industry standards.

Requirements
• Proven experience in temporary recruitment (driving, logistics, or industrial sectors preferred).
• Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring recruitment staff (or ready to step into management).
• Strong account management skills with the ability to build and grow long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with candidates, clients, and colleagues.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to work towards financial targets and branch KPIs.
• Highly organised, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence desirable.

Package & Benefits
• Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (DOE) + bonus.
• 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
• Free onsite parking.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 with occasional weekend cover
