STOREKEEPER – DUBAI, UAE
Primary obligation: Ensure the efficient, accurate, and secure handling, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies, while maintaining proper inventory records and adhering to safety and organizational standards.
Reports directly to: Production Manager
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
• Organize and maintain the storage area to ensure easy access and safety.
• Issue materials and supplies based on approved requests.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering when necessary.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory software.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper labeling and categorization of items.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
• Safeguard inventory against damage, theft, or loss.
• Dispose of expired or damaged items according to company policy.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare reports on inventory status and stock movements.
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
Qualification
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in warehouse or inventory operations.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Physical stamina to lift and move items as needed.
• Knowledge of safety and storage procedures.
