Description

Receive, inspect and record incoming spare parts, consumables and maintenance items (bearings, seals, filters, motors, belts, etc) for production and maintenance departments.Verify that received items match purchase orders, delivery documents and quality/specification standards.Store and organise spare parts in the warehouse/store-room: label, bin, rack, ensure accessibility and proper storage conditions (e.g., clean, dry, correct shelving).Maintain accurate inventory records—issue parts based on approved requisitions, process returns, log transactions into ERP / inventory management system.Monitor stock levels (minimum/maximum, reorder points), flag slow-moving, obsolete or excess inventory, and liaise with procurement/maintenance to replenish stock.Conduct regular stock counts/physical inventories; reconcile variances and report missing or damaged items.Coordinate with maintenance, production and procurement departments to ensure spare parts availability for planned maintenance, breakdowns and production shifts.Ensure all parts issued/received are properly documented (requisition forms, issue slip, GRN, returns).Provide periodic reports (stock movement, fast moving/slow moving parts, parts usage) to store manager or maintenance/plant management. Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.Proven experience (2-4 years or more) in stores/spare parts inventory, preferably in manufacturing, heavy equipment, or maintenance environment in UAE or Gulf region.Good knowledge of spare parts identification, stock control practices, and warehouse operations in an industrial setting.Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple requests and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.Understanding of basic warehouse safety, housekeeping and materials handling regulations.Exposure to preventive maintenance/spares management for production lines (understanding critical spares, lead-times, downtime impact).Familiarity with ERP modules specific to stores/spares (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS).
