Minimum Experience: 1 year
Responsibilities include planning and delivering effective food science and technology lessons, inspiring students to develop practical skills, creativity, and an understanding of nutrition and food preparation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Minimum of one year teaching experience in Food Technology or related subject
- Strong knowledge of Key Stage 3 curriculum requirements for Food Science/Technologies
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
- Good classroom management skills
- Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues
- Competence in using educational technology as part of teaching
